Easy Setup (Bolt On), beautiful form (hairline Aluminum). Air Diversion Plate catches the coming air successfully to cool down the water temperature. it is harmless for the engine and maintain the stability of the water temperature. About 20% of the air going to the engine room run away without hitting the radiator. This cannot bring the best result of cooling down the engine. The air can reaches to the core of the radiator by putting the Air Diversion Plate right on top the gap between the chassis and the radiator. This increases the efficiency to cool down the water temperature (5 C decrease).

Well, i see two problems, one that is a subaru (assume that you know that) and two, the rx8 already has one of these, it is plastic. The subaru i believe has an opening in stock form where that plate is, so blocking that off may have some value. For our cars it seems to me that this falls under the category of "dress up".

I like the look of aluminum under the hood much better than the stock plastic one! And yes, I know the model shown is a Subaru, but now Greddy makes one for the 8. I'll take it!! I'll post pics when I get it. :)
