G-Techs on EBAY for $49 New
Ebay has 45 units of the G-Tech for only $49
is this the good unit to use? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2462427544 |
Friend has the same unit in his GTI. Seems to work, but is not a very powerful tool. Its accuracy is suspect. Hills and such will change the readings drastically. FYI he paid 29 on ebay!!!

well in south fla there are no hills this is a very flat land so that part im not worried about, i dont really care how exact it is but it will measure in my opinion changes as mods get put on the car, im thinking take about 5-10 runs on stock and then start adding mods to the car you can then do the runs about 5-10 times and it should let you know at least if the mods are helping or hurting in any way? for $50 im thinking its a good investment? any one agree /disagree ??

I agree, if nothing else, it's a cheap way to measure relative performance gains.

Looks like a 'fairly' good instrument. If it does not work out for you, theres always reselling it on ebay for 15 bux less or something. Worth a shot!

the Gtech looks like a fun little toy and seems like a great idea to measure relative gains. And irish made a good point if its useless just resell it.

That is the old-style unit. Funny haw they call it the "new, improved" unit.
I don't think Tesla even sells that model anymore. |
