First Mod Check Engine Light
 I put in a K&N Filter today and got a check engine light. Is this normal? Should I pull the battery off for a second or something. The car does sound really cool with the new filter though. I hate that check engine light. I also removed the walls in the intake box.

You should not get a check engine light from the k&n drop in air filter. Look under the hood and see it any hoses near the throttle bottle is off. Did you get gas recently? if so check the gas cap. If all the hoses are on then disconnect the battery and see if it comes back on or not. Also when you start your car after disconnecting thr battery your traction control lights will be on. it will go away the ecu just needs to re learn

did you by chance disconnect the MAF. idk why you would but that'd be something to check
ya, something got unplugged, or vacuum hose came off, something along those lines are likely.
If it persists and the car is driveable, limp it to an Autozone or the like. They will pull the code for free.
I'd agree with the gas cap idea.
