F1 Styled Downshift ECU Tuning?

I was wondering, isn't it possible to program the automatic 8's ECUs to simulate a heel-toe downshift? That way when you take your foot off the throttle at high rpms, the car won't try and return to 3k rpm and lurch? I recall such piggyback mods available for the RSX, but I'm not certain.

On a related note, can you actually do a heel-toe on the automatic? I don't know if it's a good idea to do it on a torque converter, not sure. Someone please explain things for me. Thanks!

I always thought heel/toe shifting was to blip the throttle when shifting. I am sure one will let me know if I'm wrong.

it is....but i'm not certain if doing this in an automatic is good/bad for the torque converter

Actually, on second thought, since there's no way to disengage the engine from the transmission, it's almost a bad thing. So....any ecu's out there that can program the transmission to quickly shift into neutral and rev the engine, then shift into a lower gear, all in the matter of a couple tenths of a second?
