i see these adcertised at $100.00 dollars promising 20%increases in power and torque ,at this price is this just to good to be true.any info from club members who have tried one of these would be helpful.

lol I think this comes up on every car forum at least once a month... OP these work about as well as attaching a leaf blower to your intake. To clarify... no it doesn't work.

Don't listen to these haters. Electric supercharger is the single most impressive mod you can do to the car. 20% increase in power is listed as the gain in piston engines. Its just a hair over double that (42.64%) for rotary engines. You're crazy if you don't already have one.

Electric turbos are great, but with the Renesis, upgraded Cams have proven to be more effective. At least an additional 60HP. I also recommend the adjustable power band upgrade to improve low end torque (the rotary is somewhat deficient in this area in stock form):

Actually leaf blowers do work. Youtube it, there is an old video of a civic and some truck on a dyno where they hook up a leaf blower.

It rediculas and kind of funny, but it did produce a result.
