DSport magazine "bolt-ons" article w/ dynos
In case anyone hadn't seen this:
Test & Tune: 2005 Mazda RX-8 I had to manually step through pages 1/2/3 in the url. But they showed gains that are higher than what people typically claim from RX8s. I'm always hearing "the RX8 doesn't gain much from X/Y/Z modification", but this shows very solid gains. BASELINE 180.8 TEST 1 Race Muffler 183.0 TEST 2 REVi Intake System 190.0 TEST 3 Test Pipe 196.5 Perhaps the ECU was still learning the catback exhaust? Or perhaps it's some other artifact of their test procedures? |
With those parts I can believe it in a perfect world scenario on a dynojet assuming they did not screw with the dyno between runs.
