Considering On Changing Exhausts

What's going on everyone? I'm currently running a Borla exhaust paired with the BHR mid-pipe and a TurboXS header; sounds great and minimal rasp.

Just want to get some opinions. I've been thinking about switching exhausts; the Borla is a really nice system, but I find it a little too deep/mature for my taste. I'm looking for something a little bit louder with a more aggressive note.

The systems I've been looking into are:

HKS Hi-Power and the Greddy SE or SP2.

I really like the tone of the HKS, but I'm worried it might be too loud for everyday use and the possibility of getting a fix-it ticket. I'm also not a fan of having only one outlet on our cars.

For those who've gone through multiple systems, do you guys think the Greddy will be almost comparable to the Hi-Power in terms of sound without being too loud? I watched quite a lot of videos of both systems, but I just can't seem to find a fair comparison because of different midpipes people are running so the tones vary.

Recommendations of other cat-back are welcome as well. Thanks guys, much appreciated.

I must say you're on the right track with the bhr midpipe. as far as exhaust go. hks/RR Are the loudest. not sure how strict your area is but if you're afraid of a ticket I would stay away. the greddy exhausts are probably what you're looking for. the legamax is nice too but I haveny seen them for sale anywhere lately.

I live in the Los Angeles area, so I don't think it's the best place to have a really loud exhaust now that I think about it. I'm really leaning towards the Greddy now since it seems to be the best of both worlds. From what I also read, the Legamax is quieter than the Borla so I'm not sure if I want that Lol!

I'm running a TurboXS header, BHR midpipe and Greddy SP2 and I love the sound. Not crazy loud but a really nice tone and almost no drone.

I have the SP Elite. Nice quality system, love the aesthetics. Sound is good, but could benefit from being a bit louder in my opinion. I feel if you go catless, it will be a nice pairing, and already have the BHR midpipe ready to install once the winter is over and the car is out of storage.

Thanks everyone! It seems like the Greddy is the definite winner here. However, I ended up buying the Hi-Power from a local buddy who was coincidentally selling it at the same time I posted this for only a couple of hundred bucks.

I'm going to give it a shot next weekend and if it ends up attracting too much attention, I'll sell it for a Greddy system. :)

Hey Charles, thanks for the reply! I completely forgot about the Greddy being only a 2.5" system; now I'm having second thoughts on it since I don't want to create a "bottle-neck" in combination with all my other mods. I may just keep both systems instead since I got the HKS for such a great price.

Been following the development for quite some time. I'm eager to see the final product this year. :)
