Clutch Barely engages after cluth pedal adjustment

hey guys, I have been fighting with my clutch on and off for 6 months now. My stock one went out so i had a shop install a exedy clutch and prolite flywheel. After a short period of driving I noticed it was increasingly harder to get into reverse. Then all the gears were all hard to get into. I took someones advice on here to adjust the clutch pedal. I fine tuned it until I was happy with how it engaged.

Fast forward a couple of months and today it is worse than ever out of nowhere. It appears that the adjustment hasn't moved and it is almost as high as it will go. At the time of install, he also installed a SS clutch line. I am leaning toward thinking it was a problem with the install itself but wanted to see some other peoples opinions.

Have you checked the clutch pedal assembly? It could also be the slave cylinder as well.

does the pedal feel loose? does the engagement point seem like its getting smaller?

heres what a broken bracket looks like

Agree to check the pedal play.
After I did a clutch/flywheel install, my engagement point was almost instant.
As soon as I lifted my foot off the clutch pedal, it would engage completely (and stall the car if I didn't keep it going).

Adjusting the pedal play alone wasn't enough for me.
I actually had to adjust the pedal stroke then adjust the pedal play.
This was after realizing my pedal stroke was 1/2" less than the OEM requirements.
After adjusting my pedal stoke from 4.5" to 5" and then adjusting my pedal play, it feels like it always did before the install.

And like Dozer mentioned, also check the bracket to see if its cracked.
Now that you have an upgraded clutch, you're more prone to clutch bracket failure.
