Cheaper MS kit?

Hello all, I've been doing a lot of shopping around and I haven't been able to find the full MS kit for under $3000. I'm a 17 year old Target employee and there is no way that i'll be able to get that kit any time soon on the money that i make. I am dying for that kit, the real thing not some knockoff from ebay. So if any of you know where I can get the original painted thing for a cheaper price please help me out. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks all.

Your best bet is to graduated high school, and college, then get a job first. Or just work you arse off and get promoted at your current job. You aren't going to find a "cheap" authentic MS kit. Sorry to burst your bubble.

I've seen 2 or 3 places that have replicas at $2000

Oh, and that's not painted. Keep dreaming. Keep your car stock. Keep working to save money then go to college.

The thing is tho is that I have scholarships on the way. my money really just goes to gas, insurance, and food and stuff like that. So where would u guys recommend ordering it if i wanted the real thing? Should i get it off of mazdausa.com? or is there another dealership that sells it for maybe just a little less? Could i get it at my mazda dealer possibly? I dunno just to me even if i had the money $3000 just seems like so much don't you all think?

Think of it this way: you pay for what you get. $3000 may seem like a lot of money, but you're getting a great quality product that you are guarunteed to get complimented on. There are no problems w/fitment (that I have heard of yet), it comes painted and you can install yourself.

Rosenthal Mazda (See vendor section below) is about as cheap as you can get it. Maybe Matt (thew) over at www.mazdaparts.com

I guess I'm the only one who prefers the stock look to the Madaspeed kit?

Just don't use your credit cards buying things you're not ready to afford. That's a very quick way to ruin your credit real fast. Be Patient... save the money, the car is fine, wait until you can afford it.

^^^ especially a target credit card... those things rip u off!!

use ur money wisely dude! college is expensive -___- not just tuition but going out, partying, drinking, books oi! use it wisely dont waste money on just aesthetic things dude!

man, i didn't even have a car worth $3k until after college, let alone a body kit that cost that much. The rx-8 is an awesome car, even stock (which is why I bought one). There is always more stuff to spend money on, that doesn't mean you have to. Especially if you don't really have the money in the first place.

ANd yes, I also prefer the stock look to the mazdaspeed effects, though I wouldn't mind the mazdaspeed suspension setup and flywheel

Have fun, whatever you decide!

I only care for the side skirts. I already have the appearance package.

Gotta save the money here too.

Don't get me wrong I love my car. I'm so happy that I'm blessed enough to own one, but that still doesn't mean that I don't want it to look its best ya know. Before I got it the one thing i always always wanted for it was the mazdaspeed kit. I wanted it before i even had an idea i was getting the car lol. I want that kit. Does everyone know if mazdaparts.com is safe? I don't really like giving out my info and stuff ya know. Thanks all.

Appearance upgrades:

a nice drop > body kit

Costs much less, and adds performance too.

Mazdaparts.com seems to be a pretty reputable site. I ordered my intake from them and they were very helpful with keeping me up to date on the shipping status.
