Borla question

Hey guys I just got my borla installed and it's great. But just a quick question. If you look at it from the side the tips have a slight downward angle to them instead of jutting straight out. Anyone else who has a Borla, notice this?

Just checked mine -- no downward angle. Did you adjust the tips -- I remember having to use the bolts to adjust the tips when I installed mine last Sept.

Rechecked it, and I think I'm just being anal about it. Thanks anyway

Well, not to make matters worse, but mine sticks farther out on the drivers side more than it does on the passenger side!

The only person to EVER notice it was me, but when I point it out, others can see it. It's just a small amount, but it's driving me CRAZY......

tpryor.......I had the same prob when I initially installed mine. Look under the car and see if the hangers are perpendicular to the ground. Mine were on the drivers side, so I realized that the circular pipe had to be slid in further on the pipe that connects from the cat to the exhaust. Hope this helps....or makes sense. lol

I had to have the tips adjusted up and down also. And my drivers side also stuck out further, the shop that installed mine was able to adjust that by bending the hangers, I believe.

On a related note I had mine at the dealer for some warranty work and I told them I had a loud vibration on the back deck. Turns out my muffler it sitting up against the heat shield. Guess I need to head to a muffler shop and get them to tweak it.

Mine sits straight and even. I just had to do a little tweaking as I installed it.
