Borla 40477 Custom Muffler
 

Has anyone heard of an rx8 with one of these universal borla mufflers on it?
It's 2.5 inches in/out, oval, and is bound to have that borla sound- right?
I think an order, and a quick trip to the muffler shop could get me a pretty sweet axleback exhaust :crazy:

Objections/opinions/ideas?

Maybe a borla sound with a v8 but idk man I would keep it import just looks cleaner

Isn't there borla muffler specifically made for the rotary now, I swear I saw a thread on that.

yes, they have an X1 race made for rotaries

Part numbers 400371, 400372, 400373, 400374

Here's a friend of mine with the same muffler.

I wonder how it'll sound on a rotary..

Only the 400373 made it to production i believe, and im guessing that since these X1's are 'race' mufflers, they'll typically be less restrictive and therefore louder?

Looks like it is the same canister as the 40474, which is what Borla uses on their RX8 cat-back system. It should be a fine choice.
