Blitz Cooling Performer - Mazda Rx-8 (13b-msp)

I found this at Overboost:
BLITZ COOLING PERFORMER - MAZDA RX-8 (13B-MSP)

Has anyone installed this on their 8 yet?

A simple question: what, exactly, does that do?

epitrochoid 06-10-2004 10:55 PM

radiator hose...waste of money for JDM bling IMO

It's a silicone radiator hose, which is MUCH hardier than rubber. Biggest advantage is it has a hole to plumb a water temp sender for a gauge - that's the reason Blitz sells it, so people can more easily install a water temp gauge.

On a nice, new car swapping out the radiator hose is MUCH cleaner that drilling/tapping a hole somewhere.

Going along with the "much hardier" statement, they will last longer in normal driving and especially under super heat from track use
