Best Shift knobs for the 8's
 

I am looking around for a good shift knob..I am not happy with the stock one. I have read somewhere that round shaped are the best and quickest. If its a little heavier its a plus..

Shift knobs are a personal preference thing. Voodoo makes nice ones for really cheap. Just pick the finish you want.

I have used the shift knob from monster knobs. I liked it a lot. It does not get hot in the summer or cold in the winter, its great. It's made out of the same thing as billiard balls. Currently I am using a round brushed aluminum knob and although I love the looks of it, my god it get's hot!! I may go back to the monster knob.....

Can anyone elaborate on the shifting action difference between stock and the Monster Knob? I had a VooDoo in my S2k and loved it, I like the sound of the MK but not sure if I will feel like the light weight gives as much positive action?

Yes that is a very interesting thread full of opinions on everything from VooDoo to some crap that looks like it came out of a bedside table catalogue (that turned up in my search :) ).

Does anyone have an experienced comment on the difference between what a weighted knob does vs a super light one?
