AutoExe Sports Clutch Set

Has anyone heard about these or any reviews of how they perform? I'll be in need of a new clutch soon, and this one is running 108,000 Yen ($903.69)

why not look into bonez, ACT, or exedy?

army_rx8 11-30-2005 01:02 AM

^ i agree...exedy makes some great set ups. (i believe our stock clutch is a mild exedy)

Autoexe seems always overpriced.

BigOLundh 12-01-2005 10:39 PM

I agree they do seem a bit more espensive... i was just cuious to find stats

I was actually leaning closest to ACT, but i'll look into exedy too.

well don't get caught up in the "looks" game, there is quite a variation in pedal pressure vs HP limit on these, I was in San Francisco last weekend and picked up a ton of detailed aftermarket RX-8 parts info from a bookstore in Japantown, companies and products I've never seen or heard of, including clutch rates and descriptions, I'll try to post some info for you back here soon

BigOLundh 12-03-2005 12:09 AM

Oh thanks.. i need that.

TeamRX8 12-12-2005 10:32 AM

sorry I didn't get back to you sooner

IMO it makes no sense to get a clutch from Japan. If you have a problem you could be waiting for months or paying out the nose on rush delivery, etc.. It makes more sense to get one from a US supplier, I'm sure you know the usual suspects ...

ACT is under $400
