auto exe or re amemiya headers
I was looking into getting new headers was wondering if anybody has tried the auto exe or the re amemiya. Any comments on sound and hp gains would be appreciated.

The RE (despite their fantastic heritage and great legacy in tuning the rotaries) header is one of the biggest wastes of money for the 8 possible. I knew someone with AutoEXE, it didn't even register on the butt dyno. If you can't wait, get the Exoticspeed, you might get 4-5~whp for a lot less money.

Since my header though it's felt like an uphill battle for a good spark... Without a good spark my butt dyno reads---> "slow"... My ears register "loud"... My mind thinks "Piece of ****"
If everything else on your 8 isn't done good, than headers should be put at the end. I think about it now, and the only reason I have waited for new wheels is to find some lightweight ones. Now that I've found some 9lb wheels, I'm ready to buy. But I would have done is as soon as those wheels came out, on the top of the list. Headers can barely be felt, go cat-less and feel that...

with that being said comes the next question.... What were the original motives for getting an exhaust? If you get a header, than you shouldn't expect to see any gains without some form of after market exhaust. If you don't get a tune than whats the point in even mentioning you've changed exhaust patterns on your car at all... I felt a change in the butt dyno the strongest the first time I went WOT with the OBX header on...

R-Magic has the best header because the most HP you are going to get from any of them seems to be 5 HP.
But, the R-Magic is also lighter than stock so will at least also save weight. Problem thought is expense.
So, I say find the combo. One that is lighter, gives a HP increase, durable, and the cheapest would be a winner.
