REVi Ram Air Duct if i get the Racing Beat REVi RX-8 Intake System

No it will not mess up your car as long as you follow directions.

For the eclipse was the intake a short ram intake? Did the filter element sit anywhere close to the radiator fan? If so that was the problem.

ergh, you messed with your maf sensor on your eclipse, and messed with it bad i presume, that's probably why it had problems.

exhaust does not mess with the air flow entering the engine though so its fine. no ecu adjusting needed.

RB makes high, high quality stuff. Throughly tested, and it won't cause issues like you experienced. Fairly easy install. You don't need the Ram Air Duct, but I recommend it. It's an enclosed unit like the stock box, so you don't have to worry about sucking in hot engine compartment air.

oops my previous post was wrong. wow shameful. skimmed it too fast and though you said rev8.

anyways, RB does make top notch products, none of their parts will hurt your engine.

the RB intake is the best on the market
