Angled Shift Knob.....
After a month or so with one of the 'new shape' curved shifter knobs in another car, I found it to be a very natural shape, and finally switched the '8 over.
The stock rotor shaped one was a little uncomfortable, and I always found it too short for me, especially going into reverse - I felt a little more leverage was in order. I looked all over for suitable curved models, at the local mall 'toys-for-cars' place, they were $115, at WallyMart (I love WallyMart!) they were all $38, and on eBay I found this one, $5. Actually matches the door panels perfectly, the flash didn't quite catch the shine.....body is solid brass and the covering, I am sure, is not leather, but when it starts to look frayed I will just replace it with a clear conscience! Looks sharp Doc! I have to find one too. :D

I love the stock knob that is since replaced with a color-coordinated illuminated knob  But I have to admit that looks like a GREAT ergonomic fit!!

The stock shift knob seems to fit the contour of my hand perfectly, I'll never change it. However, I must say that the red and black knob looks phenominal with the rest of the interior . Great find StealthTL!

I don't mind the stock knob, but the left part of it (where my thumb rests) is already wearing down and turning a lighter shade of black. I hope the same doesn't happen to the steering wheel. I'm at 1800 miles on the car btw.
