my AEM CAI is supposed to arrive tomorrow n i was wondering if there's nething i need to know about installation, or is it pretty basic installation? (i installed my sp2 myself)

well, you will have to take off your bumper. not a big deal but iono why some people are scared to do that. just expect it to be more time consuming than installing your exhaust. good luck.

It's easier to remove/re-install the bumper if it's off the ground a bit.

ok thanx, how long does it take for the whole installation? (ballpark figure?) this is my first time taking off the front bumper, but looking at the included instructions and at the online DIY, it seems pretty easy.

the front bumper is going to take a while to get off the first time you do it (at least for me it did; watching the football game while doing it too). There are a LOT of bolts and screws. Maybe an hour to hour and a 1/2.

The first time I took off the front bumber it took me about an hour because I undid the completly wrong set of screws. Now I've gotten it down to fifteen minutes.
