ACT Carbon Clutch
Hey, just thought I would give people the heads up as clutch problems on turbo engines (or at least the potential for them) could be rectified with the carbon clutch by ACT.
Also, anyone have any experiance with carbon clutches? Besides pressure on the clutch pettle and a change in the amount of slipzone you have I don't know any differance. http://www.a-t-s-usa.com/images/phot...nda&Nissan.jpg The clutch in the picture is for a nissan but you get the basic idea. |
Over kill.

Looks like more shit to break IMO.

Should be stronger by my guess but I could be wrong. If anything go witht he steel version if your that afraid of it...

I don't think the clutch is even ready for the 8. The regular clutch won't be available until April, so I doubt this carbon version would get release any time sooner. And like Darkducati said, its overkill, even if you're is turbo.

I am currently using an ACT pressure plate on my car so obviously ACT has an application for it. Had it since last July and it uses a stock-type Exedy disc.
