You are more likely to break the position switch taking the motor out...than you are to break anything taking the pump out before. If you don't change the position of the switch you shouldn't have...

The DSC is almost impossible. You will need a different ECU. ABS unit. A lot of wiring and modules like the Yaw sensors etc.
