05 rx8 Coolant seal blown FOR SALE
 

I have a 05 rx8, black, with two tone red/black leather seals. It has 188xxx miles.

Mazdaspeed authentic forced cold air intake
Greddy Exhaust
stage 2 clutch
New alternator
new battery
two brand new tires
led lighting inside
1,000 miles on ignition coils, wires and plugs


The motor only has 40,000 miles on it. It does start and drive, but it will have to be rebuilt since it has a blown coolant seal and is leaking compression into the coolant reservoir. I am posting it for sale for $4000 if it doesn't sell I am going to pull it and rebuild it.

i talked to you on phone abut rebuilding the motor if you sell car please send the person my way for the rebuild if they decide to rebuild the motor.

I have a friend who has a similar problem - passing compression into the coolant reservoir. He thought the overheating and leaking might be due to clogged radiator - seems the last owner put that block sealer stuff in the radiator to stop the compression from passing. Worked long enough for him to fool the buyer. The engine starts right up and seems to have good compression otherwise. He changed the radiator out and put in a new one, but it still leaks, so it looks like its rebuild time.
