I'm registered for Saturday at 11 a.m. I'll do everything I can fit in. Hope I get some time to test the limits of the 8. Hope to meet some of you there. I'm so excited!!!

Also, do I need a helmet for the day or do we not have to wear one? If I don't have one do they have any they will supply? If anyone could PM me and let me know I'd greatly appreciate it.

Thanks,

9G

WantedTwo 10-08-2005 07:35 PM

damn it!!! I know I shouldn't go cause I'm straped for cash but I would love to go there with the new turbo :) damn maybe I will.

WantedTwo 10-08-2005 07:39 PM

22oct 2pm damn it all

WantedTwo 10-08-2005 08:07 PM

I talked my folks into it too, hehe

1fine8 10-09-2005 01:18 PM

I went to the Dallas event, no helmet is needed. You just need patience. I waited in line 90 minutes for just one driving experience course. The drive lasted 33 seconds. :)

9G Redline 10-09-2005 02:19 PM

Thanks Nabil. I hope I get to spend more time on a track than 33 seconds. This will be my first track event so naturally I'm extremely excited. See you guys around.

I've posted this on a few other sites and thought I'd forward it to all you 8 fanatics. We just got done with the first day of set up and the Atlanta show is going to get awesome. The performance course is 6/10 of a mile long, 24 feet wide and is about 45 seconds long. The lot is huge and we should see some of our biggest courses yet. Attendance is still super light (late add) so please, tell your friends.

Couple quick tips to ensure you have a Great time at Zoom Zoom Live. Atlanta has a huge lot and, due to being a late add, rather light attendance. If you get there early (8:30 - 9:30) the lines are usually very short. Your registration time is a guideline to help us control flow, if you want to come a little earlier, you're welcome to. Iv'e seen people do 4 or 5 laps on the performance course in the first 1/2 hour of a show. Your first 2 laps are the only ones that count towards points, after that, it's just fun. If you're going for points, the breaker is usually the Matched Time Course. Look at where the timing lights are, bring a passenger and have them run a watch. I doubt you'll hit it exactly but you should score good points. Jinba Ittai is all about finesse. It's the ball in a bowl thing and you have to be silky smooth. Pretty easy to get some points here if you've got a light touch. Performance is a no-brainer, drive fast and don't hit the cones. See you in Atlanta.
