South FL Clear Bra Installation Recommendation

Well I finally got my Clear Bra installed yesterday. The work was done by Auto Supershield (located in Boca) using the Llumar/performance/CP film. I cannot begin to tell you how good it looks. Sorry no pics as I dont have a digital camera, but I can tell you that it looks awesome. I did all of the front facia and the lines on the edges of the film are barely noticeable and the optical clarity of the film is like crystal. You have to get right up on top of it to notice anything looking remotely like an orange peel effect. Also all of the corners, curves and edges line up perfectly.

The reason that I posted this in here is for the guys at Auto Supershield in Boca. Pepi blew me away with pics of some of the exotics that he has worked on. You name the exotic, he has done it. He came out to my home in Jupiter and did a first rate installation on my 8. It took him about 3.5 hrs to finish. If you are even half way considering getting a clear bra, I strongly suggest doing it and using these guys if possible. Pepi is very nice and extremely patient in getting the job done perfectly. He installed the kit himself with no issues.

I have read the threads in the forums here that say clear bras and even this film suck and it is a waste of time. After watching Pepi wrap my baby up, I can tell you it is all in the installation.

What was the cost for the treatment? I wish you could post a picture.. Does he have a web site for us to check out?

The cost for all of the front minus the headlights was $670 installed. Very much worth it given the potential for picking up chips quickly.

Sorry there is no picture, but I can tell you that it is barely noticeable if you are not within 3 ft of the car. My car is Ti Grey and when he finished, I stood about 3 ft from the car and at most angles the line was totally invisible. For probably 95% of the people out there, they will NEVER know this is on the car unless you tell them.

damn....guy in orlando is charging $500 for the 8 installed...3m material.

$500 is a good price that you probably will not beat for an installation. I would certainly make sure that this person has done an RX-8 before. Overall, I would make sure that he can show you pictures of his work that he has done on really nice cars - I would not get the guy that does VW and Civic type jobs.
