Need Recomendation for Orlando Tire Shop
 

Anyone had any luck with a tire shop that can patch a Bridgestone without scratching the rims or breaking the TPS? Picked up a small nail and have a slow leak.

I have used a bridgestone dealer on the corner of 17-92 and Minnesota ave in winter park. They have not done anything to my 8 but have on my other cars and they were good. I forget the name of the tire shop.

Call up Fifth Gear on West Colonial Drive in Pine Hills. They specialize in ultra-expensive wheels and tires and should be able to handle it without damage. They also have the newest Hunter DSP 9000 tire balancer that few places have. In case you're wondering, I used to live in Orlando. You're average tire shop will have some guy who used to work at burger king working on your car. I'd rather put a plug in it.

I had my company car over at Sears to get a new tire so I brought the Bridgestone. Asked the service manager if anyone there was good enough to get it off the rim without scratching the rim or breaking the pressure monitor. At least he was honest, he said to take it to a performance shop.

Brought it over to Corso over on Oak Ridge. A gritty little shop that has a huge inventory of hp tires. The leak was so small (a wire brad- surprised it was even able to go through the belts) that they said to leave it alone and check the pressure often. Since I always check the pressure weekly anyway, I'll see if this one loses air any quicker than the others. I find that the Bridgestones lose almost 1/2 lb a week anyway.
