Looking for trusted mechanics in Central Florida

I'm not looking for an engine rebuild (at least not yet lol), but I would like to find a mechanic who wont screw me like the dealerships love to do.

I'm in the Orlando area and looking to replace the radiator if anyone knows a good mechanic round these parts lmk!

Not a lot of good rotary-specific options, most of the guys in Orlando when I lived there were hacks. There are a couple good shops in Tampa and the Miami area when the time comes, but most normal mechanics should be capable of addressing any external concerns, such as the radiator and cooling system.

Classic Mazda is well-liked in the local community there for sales and general service.

I recommend doing it yourself.

Is it a business, or someone you know?
If they'd like, I could add them to the rebuilders thread.

If the time comes to do any RX-8/rotary specific work, I'd recommend Pettit Racing. They are about two hours~ away down the Turnpike, but they are one of the best shops out there imho. I've had work done by them numerous times and have been satisfied with the results. Cam (the owner) is amazing. Worth it enough for me to drive two hours~ down the turnpike from Orlando when I lived there.

If I had to do a rebuild where I'm at now, I'd still take the car there (700~ miles away.)

Brandon @ FattiMotorWorks has superb pricing for Rx8 parts IMHO. If you need parts, hit him up. He should be able to get you what you need. He also has a Rx8 that he races/autox's, so he himself is an enthusiast of our cars. I haven't gotten any tuning done by him, but I know he has those services.

I have no endorsement or anything that benefits me with Brandon, this is something I picked to share of my own free will. Just thought I would add that in.
