Free cost love bug removal
Alright,
So today I am coming back from the Hard Rock in Tampa and hit a swarm of Love Bugs. (Yes they are back) I know most of you from Florida hate these pesky things and their body parts will eat thru a paint job quickly if not remove. So rather than spending your had earn cash on bug removers and car washes. I have a simple solution for removing them. Simple grab a clean shop rag or soft hand towel and wet it until it is damp. Throw it in the microwave for 45 sec to 1 minute. ( be careful it will be hot) Take it out to your car and place it over the dead bugs. Give it about 2 minutes to sit there. The wipe way. Repeat until all the offenders are gone. Its just that simple. The steam actually makes it easy to remove them. I hope this is useful to people out there. :evil_laug |
good tip. i'd probably just wash them off anyways.

One of the few reasons I am glad I no longer live in FL. That, the sand (that never comes out of your carpet), the sand spurs, the bluehairs, the over-ticketing cops, and the straight roads.
I was driving in a box truck delivering mattresses and ran into a swarm of lovebugs and I SWEAR we slowed down 5 mph due to the impact. |
Use a dryer sheet and dip it in water. It works wonders and will not strip wax. Makes a love bug car look brand new.

i think thats a central florida issue, we dont get them as bad as you guys down here in S.FL....we jus get the gnats and skeeters...
