Dark Side Drivers Ed, November 9 and 10, 2 mile road course.

The DarkSide Big Sleep Drivers Ed (Two Track Days with Instruction) at Roebling Road (Savannah Georgia) will be on November 9th and 10th. Roebling is a 2 mile road course with no outside walls and lots of run-off area. There are 5 run groups with multiple sessions a day, class room sessions for the "green" group and in-car instruction for green and blue. The other groups are white, black and red (instructors). Come up for a great weekend. There is usually a good Mazda representation, mostly 7's and 8's, although I remember a 6 wagon tearing up the track several years ago. We will likely have the 3 there as well. This is one of the groups that does Taste of the Track ride-alongs. Spend time in Savannah and hit the track for rides.

I was the guy in the 6 wagon! Dark Side puts on a great event. I had an absolute blast!

Come back in May!! First beer is on me. That was so much fun to watch.

Wish I could. 6 died and was replaced by a Suburban. Not a good track candidate...

Bummer...

But, it would be a great car to pull a miata with...

For those of us who are not from your area, nowhere does it say where in the US this place is. Not even on the website does it ever give a location, That would be helpful.

It is a great track to start out and learn speed (125 + at the end of the straight, brake and turn right). Multiple run groups with multiple sessions a day, class time for the "green" group and in-car instruction for green and blue. Data on DarkSide is available at Dark Side Index.
