Master Argentinian Chef of the "Asado" Simon will be preparing the meats on a must see BBG.. The Argentinian Way. Churrasco ! Yummy . I am really looking forward to this event and from the looks of it ... should be the biggest meet so far... we have a lot of new people coming to our meets and Markham Park is a great location.

I will be sending emails to everyone and remember to chase down other Rotary owners that you see on the street... so we can make this event really great.

There will be some surprises at this meet as you will see... I am not at liberty to divulge what they are at present but you will see.. you will have to wait til then..

We will be having prizes to be raffled such as Front Mount Intercooler, other items will be donated by DAD Dynamic Auto Design and Speed n' Style as well.

This invitation is open to all ROTORHEADS... whether you drive an RX-3 to an RX-8

Last meet we had three RX-8's and at this next meet we will have a total of 7 RX-8's coming to the meet.

The cost for this event is only $5.00 to have some great food , Churrasco, sausage, corn, sodas, chips etc etc etc.

I dont mind at all if you tag along.. we would like to have you there so you can take part of the caravan ride up to Markham Park... we will met at my shop by 10:30 AM and head out about 11:45 AM

wait where is Weston,Fl.... I live in Orlando and have no prob doing a caravan..

its inbetween and west of miami and ft lauderedale. The park is right off of I75 so its pretty quick to get to.

Make it a weekend out here..

Saturday Night is Hot Import Nights at Miami Beach Convention Center

Sunday is the meet at Markham Park

There is motel right behind Miami International Airport... Miami Airways Inn and the rooms are $49.00 a night... close to everything and clean too. Their parking lot is gated and has a security guard shack... pretty safe...

SOFLA, You put me down twice

It looks like its going to be a great gathering of Rotorheads in one location...

Also I spoke with the Sun Sentinel and they said they would have a reporter out there taking pics of all the cars and the event... so that is going to give us some exposure...

Tommy from RX7Mall.com will be on hand as he expressed desire to be a part of the meet.

A couple of race cars will also be present from guys like Andy Osborne "Osborne Racing", Steve Senay "STS Racing", Luis "DMS Racing" and there is one more that I cannot remember his name.

I spoke to Simon today and he is preparing to be there early so we can have a great spot as he said that once we come in the park and make our first right that it will be about 2 or 3 little bridges.. in fact it is the place where the RX-8's had a meet some months ago if anyone was present at that meet.

Bill from Powertech and DAD will be there to provide some really great prizes for the various raffles that we will be having that day so make sure you bring plenty of money to buy some raffle tickets..... all in all there are a total of 18 prizes to be awarded.

I hope to see you all there and to make this meet the best one that we have had up to now...

Markham Park is a 666 acre park on the edge of the Everglades Conservation Area. Outdoor activities abound at this park, including fishing, boating, swimming, skeet shooting, stargazing,tennis,camping, volleyball, biking, hiking, horseback riding, and picnicking.
