Help Needed from ATLANTA RX8 Drivers!

Help Needed from Mazda Rx8 Drivers in Atlanta

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Would you know anyone in the North East Atlanta area that drives a silver RX8? specifically the Hamilton Mill Area in Dacula?
That driver is wanted by the Gwinett Police Dept in the July 21st (Wednesday @ 7:15) horrific accident on Hamilton Mill Parkway in Dacula.... where a Father and his family were almost killed and burned in their Expedition...The Expedition was hit head on by a Ford F250 Dooley which was cut off by this Silver RX8...!!!!!!!!!!Not only did the Silver RX8 cause the accident but they witnessed the car on fire and fled the scene of the accident....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Please>>>> help me find this RX8-driver so that he or she can be help accountable...I am offering a $1,000 cash reward to the person who helps us locate this driver...
We are sure that this driver has hid the car as well as told others close to them about the accident...We have posted a bulletin on the Hamilton Mill website, tolf all Hamilton Mill Merchants and Banks and Car Washes as well as Mazda Dealers to help us...and everyone has said yes!!! THe DMV will be helping us locate this driver shortly but until then if anyone of you can help us find this person I will pay the reward in cash to you gladly......!
My tel is 678-546-5580....I am the Father that almost lost my life that afternoon around 7:15...July 21st....
Thankyou for any help you can give me and my family......

Sorry to hear of your circumstances , however couldnt the police get a list of all the silver RX8 owners in the relevant areas were you believe this car is ???

Would Mazda America be in a position to make this information available to you .?

Are you 100% sure that the car was a RX8 ???

cheers
michael

I would let the police deal with locating the silver RX-8 rather than have random people tell you randomly who owns a silver RX-8.

Insufficient information. Please elaborate on how the RX-8 cut-off the Ford F250 Dooley.

For all we know you could be some psycho stalker looking to hack this guy to pieces.....care to offer any substantiating evidence?

This happened July 21st and they still haven't found the phantom RX-8?

I checked the Atlanta Journal-Constitution for July 21 and 22 and could not find anything except a van they were looking for in road rage. Can you send us a link to the story or a snippet from the paper?

So far I don’t see any proof that what you are telling us is true.

not to mention that a simple database search would show names and addresses of anyone who owns a silver rx-8 in that city.

As I already said, having people send you info about people who own silver rx-8's is not going to do anything other than annoy a bunch of innocent people.

ps: I own a silver rx-8.

Being the perpetual skeptic that I am, I called the Gwinnett Co police department to either verify this story or prove it wrong. They verified that an accident between a Ford F250 and Expedition DID OCCUR at that date with a report time of 9:13 p.m. I question any story like this, having seen several like items generated for the sheer sensationalism of it. Apparently, this one is legit....but I would caution anyone who might see or know of a vehicle fitting this description, to call the police and let them handle it.

Their number is 770-513-5000. They can verify for you, the information I just passed along.

comes with a time 2 hours earlier than what the police told you. dont want to sound unsympathetic if this is true but i agree with most of you that asking for rx-8 owners names on the internet like this is not the way to go about things. however, if this is true, i would strongly suggest that anybody with knowledge of or who witnessed this event, or for that matter any accident like this, to go to the police and give them information. running from the scene of an accident is just wrong.

Time to move on.

I'm sorry for your terrible experience and grateful that no one was seriously hurt. It is now time to move on. The driver didn't stop for his fellow man, that shows his character. It's been a horrible experience for you but it's time to let go. You will cause yourself more harm by holding this so close rather than letting it go. It wasn't your time and your loss was only material. Trying to bring someone to justice in this situation may cause you more pain. Tomorrow is another great day, move on.

I hate to say this.. but how could you prove that this silver rx8 acturally cause your accident??
I had incident back in 1997 where this SUV switch lanes and I tried to aviod hitting and destroyed my convertible as I hit the median. Cops came out and told me that it was no one at fault... since no contact was made... This could also be driver of f250's fault. As he freaked out as a car was merging in.. Its hard to say what exactly happened as I wasn't at the scene..

Good luck and glad you and your son were ok..
