I'm pretty sure I've hit 105 for a bit after leaving my car out for a couple days. It dropped to around 100 after a while, but either way that was an absolutely ridiculous day.

AH, Man!!...too hot!
it's getting hot in here...so take of all your clothes https://www.rx8club.com/attachment.p...id=41781&stc=1

What about your feet? :p |
Another sunny day in Buffalo and low humidity
in plantation it was 108 on my temp gauge then it went down to 102 after driving a bit
Ouch that hurts! No wonder there's that heat shield recall!
The problem is that it hasn't been raining enough lately. We need more friggin rain
I think we have had plenty of rain, well at least in my area.
Thetitanium8 I used to live in Tampa-Westchase area... How's life on the bay lately? I missed Tampa...
I was 102 today. We do need rain. I hope it isn't this hot for our meet on Sunday
It pissed rain here in LW... just made the humidity worse, not enough to water the yard though.
It's hot over here too. No where near 100's, but above normal temps. It is hard as hell to sleep with this kind of heat.
I'm disappointed with you East coasters. Everybody knows it's going to be hot in Florida in the summer. At least you can look forward to noticeable cooldown by the middle of October. So just grin a bear it and take it like a man for the next ten weeks! Such is the price for living in paradise.
I don't think hoping for rain is the answer. Here in the Tampa Bay area five beachgoers were injured when a lightening bolt hit the water near Clearwater Pier. I figure I'd much rather be hot and alive than cool and dead. |
The whole country is suffering from a heat wave. Where I live the temps swing 40 degrees. This morning it was 45 at my house, but it is supposed to hit 85 by 3PM.

Everywhere except the beach towns in LA. :p I saw a high of 80 I think last week. Most of it was in the upper 70's. This week is forecast for mid to low 70's. Humidty is non existant with nice cool breezes. This is the same weather we get year round. :) |

No thanks. You can escape a hurricane. Where you gonna go when the big one hits? RE is no longer a bargain around here. 3 years ago, the median price of a home in central FL was $150k. Last month it was $240k. It's actually higher but they expanded the area for the survey and it takes in a lot more rural areas than before. |
