Almost got hit by some jackass in an SUV!!!
 

I was driving home from class going south on Alafaya and I was the THIRD car at the light at University. I take off behind the TWO other cars, and upon getting to the other end of the intersection, I had the pleasure of encountering this absolute piece of human garbage. He was sitting at the light and decides that the gap in front of me was big enough for his Buick Rendezvous (about 1 CAR length, and we were going about 30-40 at this point). I had to hit my breaks hard enough to make it feel like they were about to break off and I just BARELY managed to stop before hitting him. I couldn't have had more than about 2" when all was said and done. So after taking care of doing the actual driving in the situation, I got on my horn for about 15 seconds and that asshole gave ME the finger!!!! :mad: I'm seriously about to explode in a fit of rage right now, I need to either go out and drive somewhere secluded or take a nap...and since I live in Orlando, I think it's going to have to be the latter.

So, if anyone sees a brown Buick Rendezvous around here with New York plates, if you could just go ahead make their life a living hell, it would be VERY much appreciated.

Glad to hear you made it unscathed. Now, grab a glass, put some ice in it. Grab your favorite single malt, pour it over the ice. Pick up the glass, take in a big whiff. Take a good sized swig, but don't swallow it, just let it roll around in your mouth a bit. Let it drop... Ah.... Sweet nectar.

Aye, that and some therapeutic GT4 is sounding real good right about now...Though, I think we demolished all our liquor over the course of the weekend, so beer it is.

Whenever I encounter life's little idiots on the road, I dial the highway patrol. Beats road rage and sometimes you actually get results. I have seen the idiots get pulled over at least three times and one time I was asked to go to court to be a witness. The guy was drunk and his attorney was fighting every angle. The judge threw the book at the guy since I was able to corroborate his earlier misdeeds.

Honking your horn does nothing but take it to a new level, plenty of people shot from road rage just from honking the horn. I've been trying to get my coworker whom I ride with a lot to stop that as my job isn't worth my life, haha. I've usually had the most problems with minivans, since they're driven by suburban moms with 5 screaming kids in the back as she's talking on the cellphone while taking them to soccer practice.

I almost NEVER use my horn. You have to piss me off something wicked to make me angry enough to actually seek out the horn and use it. Plus, I think I could have taken the guy that was driving :p

And if that thread actually exists, that guy better hope I don't find it because I will tear his driving apart - he didn't just make a mistake, this guy was a downright BAD driver. (he was one of those "jam the brakes at every intersection" people, and I wasn't even behind him, so he wasn't trying to piss me off)

On the way to work this morning, I had a lady ride my bumper in a Ford Sport Trac. I kept looking in my mirror to see what she was doing: cellphone, farding in the car, etc. - Nothing. I just try to get away from those people.

I wouldn't use the horn either--it's too wussy sounding :p Why don't they make loud, manly sounding horns anymore???
