The PCA is holding a driver's ed on April 14th & 15th at Homestead Speedway. That's $400 for 2 days but you get a lot of driving and an instructor with you.

There is also an autoX on 4/26 and that's $40 at Bank Atlantic Center. That's a typical autoX done in the parking lots.

If you want to register, go to clubregistraion.net and when you search for events, search under the club "Gold Coast Region PCA"

[quote=cavemancan;4227362]Equip Rapid is having an AutoX on the 15th. The President/Owner recently died and a friend of mine wants to get as many people to go as possible in honor of him.

Where is this one going to happen?

Ricky SE3P 04-08-2012 06:34 PM

So I may end up having to wait to get another set of rims, maybe even new tires. Why? because my father this afternoon decided to disregard my advice on what to do working on my parents SUV today. The battery died and needed to be replaced so we went ahead and took care of that early. While putting the clamps back on each terminal the POS positive terminal showed damaged that couldnt be repaired. After about 15 minutes of him struggling trying to tighten the clamp, I WENT AND BOUGHT a new clamp for them. Instead of properly installing the clamp on the new wires, my father decided to just try to clamp the new one over the old terminal clamp by bashing it over the original with an adjustable wrench. Goes without saying that didnt result in a good job. After all this my dad tried to start the car, and the shaking from the start attempt caused several voltage spikes and fried the cars ecu/pcm... Now, the car will still need to have the clamp replaced, but now we also need to get a new ecu/pcm and have everything reprogrammed at Ford... Yeah, im really pissed, because now the money I saved up to buy new tires and another set of rims is going to go to getting that work done on their SUV to get it running again.. Is my frustration/anger with the situation justified?

Thanks dude. If anybody has any input on BC coilovers please share. I want to be as educated as possible before purchasing.

I'd buy em. I know a few people who have the on a BMW, and they love em. They're on a 135i, ///M5, and an E30. I saw those on Craigslist too. It's a good deal!

Seems a lot of people are happy with them.

A good friend of mine has them on his 350Z and loves them. He's the main reason I'm looking into them.
