This is a 2004 Mazda RX8 built for dual purpose daily driving and track day use. Interior, exterior, and mechanical are all in great condition. This is a perfect option for somebody that wants a car they can drive to the track or autocross, run very competitive lap times with full safety features, and drive home again without issue. Also makes a solid drift car platform. It is completely street legal, smogged and ready to go!!

At $7,500 you are essentially buying the parts and getting the complete car for free! If you only use this car as a daily driver or only as a track car, you will not come close to being able achieve this build quality for close to this price.

I would consider myself to be an advanced track day driver with some club racing background and consistently run 1:48 to 1:50 lap times at Laguna Seca with this car in track prep (videos of Laguna Seca footage available upon request).

No, not since the engine was installed by Mazda. However, I have dropped the price significantly so at $7,500 I would be happy to arrange for a compression test at the potential buyers cost.
