so i ended up getting an Audi a4 daily and started thinking about the rx8, if i dont get rid of it, it'll probably end up becoming a dedicated track car. Its a 2006 WWP GT, with about 110,000 and the engine is still running pretty strong. It recently passed CA smog. I've been using premix since 40k miles. Its got a bunch of mods, which i listed below. I'm selling the car in AS IS condition, price can be negotiated but I've listed is basically what I'm looking to get out of it. I will throw in most of my spare parts but i think i will keep the Recaro seat but i will gladly throw in the rails. good things: car is still running strong, has most maintenance mods including coils, upgraded radiator, water pump and thermostat. very engaging to drive, new 2 peice brake rotors from girodisk with jdm autoexe brake lines and full autoexe chassis bracing, AWR roll bar is the same bar used on the rx8 pace car concept from a while back and have since been discontinued. some bad things that needs to be worked on: mismatched interior, front seats are from a 2006 Shinka which means the all the airbags and stuff will work, the rear seats are from a 2004 in chappral brown, the door panels are 2005 black, steering wheel buckskin wrap, i installed a autoexe buckskin wrap a couple of years ago, but i got kind of lazy and now its been worn down, it still retains the extra width and the hand grips but the buckskin texture has since faded, you can take it off and it'll be a black n chaparral OEM steering wheel underneath tires, the tires are due to be replaced soon rattles, since car is running fairly aggressive suspension and brakes it tends to rattle a bit over hard bumps, PS I WILL NOT PART OUT THE CAR, if i don't sell it, it will stay as my track toy Mods Engine/Transmission: K&n typhoon II intake HKS hi power exhaust REmedy waterpump REmedy thermostat BHR ignition kit Mazda Competition aluminum radiator with Ron Davis core Samco silicon hoses Mazdaspeed lightweight flywheel Suspension/Chassis: Bilstein HD shocks revalved by fatcat motorsports 390/280lb tein tapered coilover springs Autoexe 6pt front brace Autoexe 4pt rear brace replica Autoexe underbody brace Brakes: Carbotech XP8 pads Girodisk 2 peice rotors Autoexe brake lines Wheels: Rays Gramlight 57f in custom solid gray Hankook RS3 tires Exterior: replica RE Amemiya Front lip De-badged front bumper carbon wrapped OEM side flares VIS racing carbon trunk 3k HID foglights Interior: Recaro SPG drivers seat AWR racing 4pt rollbar (one of 11 made i think) 6pt takata harness Apexi EL gauges Autoexe buckskin steering wrap Corksport Dash kit double din DVD player spare parts that i have laying around: oem wwp trunk uninstalled grounding kit (unknown brand) shinka rear seats (missing one cushion) center console spare floor mats Buildthread http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7095/7...bf0f2d28_b.jpg http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2696/...1ba4fe08_b.jpg http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2625/...e2dff6b4_b.jpg http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2529/...e6bfd322_b.jpg |
