Selling a 2009 Mazda Rx8 with only 47,xxx miles on it! Great car for commuters and for first car !! very RARE with these low miles... TAKE ADVANTAGE OF A GREAT DEAL !! The car has all the original parts and you can modify this beauty to your own taste ! This is a no brainer ..

Its only a no brainer if there is a recent compression test. Do you have one?

Also, the RX8 makes a terrible first car.

Which model - GR-R? GT-S?

I'm not sure I even know what you are talking about. So I'm going to say no I do not have one.

Thank you for the insight, I just want to sell so I can buy something else that's bigger, family coming.

That's not very reassuring...

Might want to list the transmission type as well.

Any informed buyer is going to value an '8 without a compression test roughly the same as an '8 without an engine.

Go to a Mazda dealer, pay the 1-2 hrs of labor to have a rotary-specific compression test done.

Also, post more photos of the exterior and, like, ANY photos of the interior. Transmission and trim level are crucial, as well.

Oh boy...

Just to be extra clear: you need a rotary specific compression test with 8 numbers: 6 compression pressure for each face of both rotors, and the 2 numbers of cranking RPM of both rotors. You need to either go to a Mazda dealer or a rotary shop for this. Numbers provided by piston compression testers are worthless.

Also, do you have all the maintenance records? This is also crucial, and your "I don't know what a compression test is" statement doesn't help a single bit.

Looks like a GT to me, with the sunroof and fog lights. I can't tell what kind of tranny it has, though.

And no, I would not buy an RX-8 as a first car.

Got mine for 400$ with same miles . came with a engine with no compression just saying..

MAstray1990 10-30-2017 02:51 AM

If you can I would upload more pictures of the exterior and some of the interior. Also are you the first owner? Has the engine been replaced before? How have you been taken care of it? Hope the sale goes well.

1. Your link is dead
2. It’s not an R3

boricua13 10-31-2017 09:10 AM
