This post is for a 2005 Mazda RX-8 Shinka Edition. The Shinkas were basically the R3 from the 1st series RX-8.

2005 was the first year for the Shinka and was a special edition for that model. The 2005's were the only year that the car was shipped with the Black Cherry Micah paint and Parchment interior color. Out of the total production of 2150 vehicles, 1357 were produced for North America market. This car is #99. Car is fully loaded with the exception of the navigation system that was garbage anyway.

The car has been well maintained and comes with many reliability enhancements. Oil change every 2000 miles. 71K on original motor. Motor is strong with no apparent loss of compression. Hot-starts are no problem. No revving for shut-down. Always starts with just a couple cranks.

Plus,

Epitroch OMP mod (feeds clean oil from can instead of crankcase). Only Idemitsu has been used.

Interior is immaculate and still smells new. Body has a couple small dents from the parking lot but never in a major collision. Needs a windshield due to rock damage (small chips and crack now appearing but is hidden well and can still be driven). Have a set of steel braided brake lines and speed bleeds to install also, just haven't gotten to it.

Will be taking the car to my insurance to get the dents fixed, as well as fix the windshield. After that, price goes to 10k. No lowballers. No joyrides. Will not sell this car to just anyone. Tell me its for your 18 year old kid and you'll get laughed at and dismissed instantly. This car will only go to the right person.
