Well guys, the time has come -once again- that i am thinking of selling my Rx8. It was my daily driver for a couple years then slowly turned into my project car. I have again ran into a few issues so will sell it if i can get the right price for it.
The car, as it sits now, has a cracked side housing on the front rotor. Due to this fact, this sale can go one of two ways. I will take $15500 as the car sits or $18000 if i repair the motor and have it in good MECHANICAL condition. (i will not pay for the tune and dyno time as we all know that adds up real fast.) The incident that lead to the motor getting a crack was believed to be on the dyno durring the tuning session. Tuner was Steve Kan and all was going well. About an hour into the session the throttle stuck open and hit the limiter before the car could be shut off. The boost spiked to 18lbs during this and we believe that this was the incident that caused the crack. My goal for this build was to break the 400whp mark and i still believe that would be very easily done. All unfortunate for me, but could make out to be a decent deal for others. The turbo kit is using an Esmeril racing manifold and downpipe. NO PRO TUNE FOR BOOST USE. These are some older pictures that i have online. I will post up some newer ones tonight when i get off work. At the moment the motor is in the process of being torn down for repairs, however, if i dont have to make the repairs i will re assemble it to running condition. If i part out the car i would most likley just part out the performance parts and the engine. Would part out the kit, the engine, meth kit, clutch and so forth...

Exhaust stays on the car. Looks like i am parting out the turbo kit and the motor though.
