Wisconsin 2004 Titanium Grey Sport
 

Time to sell this project and start another! This car was bought with a low compression engine a few years back and rebuilt from the bottom up by yours truly. Here is the link to a fairly detailed thread of the whole build. I'd say its about 97% finished, the car still has some quirks, but I've but over 10k miles on it since the rebuild without a hiccup. It will come with a Cobb AP.

These are just some of the upgrades, I'm sure I'm forgetting some, check out the build thread for everything:

Engine built with new OEM rotors, seals, OMP lines, oil injectors, Mazmart oil pressure regulator, fuel injectors were cleaned/tested at deutchwerks, new lightweight flywheel (fidanzda), new oem clutch, koyo radiator, new brake rotors and pads all around.

Have been running a Sohn adapter with Idemitsu premix.

Mazda just performed air bag recall, also replaced fuel pump and gas tank recall, also did a control arm recall I had never heard of.


The remaining issues:
Tired out series 2 transmission installed, 5th gear syncro a little rough
A/C doesn't work, needs a charge
Cruise control rarely works, seems to work when its hot in the summer, maybe loose connection in the steering wheel controls?
Will occasionally misfire at 5k RPM under partial throttle, no idea

Thats the jist of it. Its a fun car, has been 100% reliable for me, I will miss that sound of the car revving to 9k forever. I've just lost interest in it and need to make room in the garage for the next project.
