Did the transmission get fixed for the recall?

I took it in when I bought it a few years ago and had them check to make sure all recalls and where done. I received updates to the extended warranty in the mail but I have not gotten any notice about the transmission. Could you provide me more info on what this is about?

I talked to a few people and they mentioned problems with the heat insulator being cracked on some of the manuals. You can pm me so i don't clutter up the thread. I'm just in the market for a car and am interested in an rx8. I go to school in valparaiso, so i'm not to far from south bend.
