04 Rx8 price lowered

This was originally posted on another forum so it might seem like it's kinda geared towards people that don't know anything about rotaries, just ignore that rx8club.com members! =)

I've only owned this car for a little over a month, and I love it. So why would I sell it? This is the first vehicle I've ever owned that is automatic, and I miss manual dearly. It does have the automanual mode but it's just not the same. The car has been cared for by me meticulously, I did a lot of research on rotary's and the rx8 specifically before I purchased it. Like I said, the car has been well taken care of, I have NEVER taken it above 3k rpm prior to the engine getting up to operating temperature (I always wait until a couple minutes AFTER it's reached the middle "sweet spot" point on the gauge), I check the oil religiously and make sure that it's sipping oil as rotaries should do and that it is always well supplied. The rx8 begs to be driven, you have to actually redline the car on a regular basis or you'll get problems such as a stuck secondary shutter valve and so on, the redline clears out the carbon deposits and I have redlined the car to maintain the engine, but not until the engine was properly broke in.

The good:
The car has 82k miles on it, the engine has 4k miles on it, it was professionally installed by a mazda dealership, I have all of the paperwork to prove it.
The car is also under warranty until the end of this year or 100k, whichever comes first. I'm talking specifically about the engine block here.

Interior is in good condition it has a few cigarette burns (previous owner) but does not smell like smoke, aside from that interior is in good condition.

I'm not sure specifically what the package is but it seems pretty loaded with everything except factory nav and leather seats. It has a sunroof, full bosesystem (sounds awesome), it has the traction control (I think all rx8's come with this actually), the rear view mirror automatically tints itself when someone's headlights behind you are in your eyes, power windows, power locks, AC blows cold, power mirrors, etc etc.

It's mostly stock with the exception of it having a B&M transfer cooler and a dual core mishimoto radiator

The car is very reliable, and I haven't had any issues with it whatsoever.

The bad:
Take a look at the pictures, on the passenger side front and rear wheel wells it has issues. I was quoted at $250 a piece to fix them, if you think this is a ridiculous quote I'll have it fixed and tack $500 onto whatever the previously agreed upon price was. It also has a front bumper in primer and the hood is an OEM but for a sunlight silver rx8 (mine is a titanium grey). Of course the bumper is in primer because it had a minor front end collision, I'm not trying to deceive anyone. I purchased the car this way, the dealership found everything to be within spec, the title is still clean and clear. The air bag was not replaced, but I do have a new air bag and a new module that comes with the car, if you're brave enough to install one of those things feel free. The car also comes with some other parts that I bought, not because I needed them but because I planned on keeping the car for a long time and the parts were dirt cheap (I browse forums =))

It needs a new air pump. A functioning air pump doesn't do anything other than for a minute or two when the car starts up it heats up the cat by recirculating air into it, so there is a CEL on because of it and I'm 99% sure you won't pass emissions unless you replace the air pump, which can be had online used for $75.

Tires are crappy.

I'm really looking to get cash for the car but this car IS my only vehicle, so of course it's my DD and if you're interested in trading you can throw an offer at me, if you're going to offer a trade it must be a manual and I can throw in up to $2k. If this car was a manual I'd keep it and spend the $2k on it in fixing it's issues and then put the rest into performance upgrades.

$7100
