*feeler*

This is intended as a feeler for value, but if someone local wants to talk in more detail PM me. Obviously price is open for discussion - but I wanted to start at the high end given its a feeler.

I have an RX8 and curious what the value would be for a private party sale. Please let me know your thoughts. I checked autotrader for some local examples, but not sure they are representative because most are autos. Also, I am not sure if there is a better place to post this, no hard feelings if it gets moved.

So here is the story of the car: 2006 with ~55k miles galaxy grey 6 speed. I am second owner and picked it up in 2008 with ~10k miles.

Car looks and runs well. I would call it in good but not perfect condition. A few years ago someone bumped it in a parking lot and a dented panel in the wheel well required a tow and some work. Fixed as good as new but I mention it because I assume it will show up in the carfax (and I'll be honest if asked) ;)

I recently spent close to a grand on new Michelin A/S 3 tires. Probably a sunk cost, but might help the value a bit since these are very nice tires.

(the front passenger mid speaker works intermittently, but I figure I'll fix that somehow before selling)

If you need more info, let me know. I figured I would start with less info to get a general idea.

FWIW, I am in Northern Virginia/Washington D.C. area.

Rules state that you must list a price in classified ads. Yes, a "feeler" thread becomes largely impossible. Put up a price and let people know you are open to discussion about how accurate it is. Or just discuss the theoretical price over in New Member or Discussion. I've seen you building your way to 10 posts, but you didn't really need to in order to post this kind of question.
