windshield wiper assembly
Haven't even had my car for a year--keep it garaged at night. The windshield wiper assembly is faded and dull. Suggestions?:scratchhe

mothers back to black or ICE wax. Never use ICE on the paint, it sucks.. but it is great for the black parts of the car

Tom, I assume you're talking about the wiper arm itself, and not the actual assembly which can be seen here right? http://www.finishlineperformance.com...cat=273&page=2
If you need the assemblies(what I linked), I think I have a good pair in my garage. Got any pre-mix left? :rollingla Actually, I better go look and see....those may be for my daughters 3, now that I think about it. :scratchhe |
mine were fried too. what i did was
\/ \/ \/ take it off sand it coat with hi temp bbq paint, coat with no shine semi gloss, drink beer:beer05: and enjoy the result of your effort. |
I use the same stuff i use to protect my dash. You will actually be surprised on the finish!
I first clean the black plastic with water/windex. Then spray rag with leather/dash protectant and rub in a circular motion. I also do this to my windshield wiper arms, and any black parts that are plastic. The difference is amazing!!!!! I tried it on my Moms Mazda 6 first to make sure it wouldnt mess up the coating! lol It works GREAT!!!! And we have that nasty Florida sun, and it works everytime!! |
