Window sticker placement

The security system comes with a warning sticker that you can place on the inside of a window (a static sticker). I would think it would typically go on the driver's window, on the bottom right corner, near the door handle. Since I have window tinting, will the static sticker damage the tint film? Is there a better place to put it?

Also, the Mazda roadside assistance comes with a sticker that is supposed to go on the outside of the rear window. I really don't like the idea of putting a sticker back there, but the dealer said it has to be there for the road-side assistant to acknowledge that you really have road-side assistance. Is there any better way than to just put it on the bottom right corner of my back window?

Re: Window sticker placement

Can't comment on the interaction of the sticker with tinting film, but I placed my alarm warning sticker in rear corner of the driver's door, about 1.5 inches up from the bottom. Thus it's still visible if I leave the windows cracked open while parked.

As for the Roadside Assist sticker, I think your dealer is feeding you a line of BS.

About the Road side assistance sticker, it was explained to me that it just made sense to have the sticker visible from the outside so that if you lock your keys and wallet in the car you can easily get the number!

Makes sense! GM and Hyundai just give you a card, so if you leave it in the car your screwed!

putting stickers on tinted windows should not affect the tint
