White became Extra Extra White Pearl. Awesome guys
 

Today I received my Whitewater Pearl from Detailing shop. I thought it was extra clean white but now I can see the difference. After the professional Teflon treatment it looks great. Also the leathers now look brighter. I recommend Teflon treatment to everyone guys. A bit expensive but defenitely worth it.
I also got a 5 year warranty on Paint and Leathers..... :) :) :)

Soo...your car is non-stick now like frying pans? :) If so, it should really make cleaning off dead bugs simple!

Is there proof that this Teflon stuff really works and is durable? Every Teflon car care product i've tried (and many other detailers) are jokes.

Anything that has "Teflon" in the name for car paint stuff has the little "R" with the circle around it, meaning its not really Teflon the material. Most of that stuff is a mixture of a carnuba wax and possibly some polymers mixed in, probably some silicons as well.

It'll give the same effect as any detial would at first...you'll just have to see how it holds up. The OTC stuff doesnt do so well, so hopefully they used something better.

Yes I have before after pics. You have to be a bit patient.
You can not apply Teflon by your self except if you are professional detailer to do so.
If you try to do it by yourself without neseccary equipment this silly Teflon product on the market will destroy your paint.
Teflon is a prodective layer on paint and leather that has to be warmed up a lot by special equipment to take it off. Is prodective again direct sunllight heat, insects, bird shits and grease.
Warranty for 5 years, free repair of scratches after Teflon and every 6 months revisit detail shop to remove old Teflon layer and apply new for a small fee.
Here in Cyprus all big Car dealership like Porsche, Lotus, Mercedes sent all their new cars to this detail shop for Teflon before selling.

To apply Teflon, you have to heat the material and the surface above 600 F. I doubt they do that to your paint....lol. I've heard of this stuff before, I think the version I heard of was called X-Cote.

From what it sounds like, you dont skip the normal polishing stage and possibly wet sanding if you have the deeper marring. After that you apply this product by hand.

Problem is, you look around at different websites for this stuff and they either dont look legit or are VERY fuzzy at what this stuff actually does.

Did you see them apply it to your car? If so, how was it done?

From what I read. The majority of the whole process involves greatly cleaning the car, part of which is clay barring it. X-Cote seems to be just a clear coat of "stuff" w/e it is.

Seems to me that the same effect can be achieved through claybarring and waxing. I'd imagine that's it's the claybarring that is giving the paint that fresh look; the X-cote is just a protectant.

Andreas - We're skeptical because we dont have any info like how its applied or any pictures like before or afters. Tell us what they put in your car and that might help. We have no info here.

VASasha - This does look like it is just the coating over the top once the surface is prepped. Unless Andreas' car was just done with a normal "dealer prep" where they just do a 1 step all in one type product.

I'd bet this teflon treatment is on par with mirror sheen glamorizing.

I find using Pam no stick cooking spray is cheaper and tastier then teflon.
