Wax Question
I know with Zaino the more coats you put on the better the shine gets. Is wax the same way? Or is putting on more than one coat just a waste of time?

I've never used the high end wax, but the normal stuff doesnt look any better layered. So pretty much a waste of effort. ALso, Zaino goes on so much easier and rubs off so much easier than wax, I'd rather suffer the first time Zaino aplication, and then have a quick 45 minute process to do once a month than waxing every few months.

My vote, waste of time. Also, put coats 4 and 5 of Zaino Z2 (with coats of Z6 before and between) yesterday. 90 minutes start to finish, so the 45 minutes a coat looks pretty good as an estimate. And I took my time, spraying the Z6 on a panel, buffing the panel, polishing the panel with Z2, then moving to the next panel, etc.). |
Yeah. it's about 30 to put on the Z2 and buff it of, and another 15 on the Z6 by misting and wiping. I was very happy with it and felt that once the first part is done, Zaino is way better than wax. It also lasts a good 4-6 months so once a month a layer to maintain it should look awesome.

Thanks for the responses guys.:)
I knew everyone would say how much better Zaino is. I know it is better, but I happened to have a lot of Mequires liquid gold left over and I'm not about to let that go to waste. As soon as I use the rest of it up I have every intention of picking up the Zaino products. |
