Water Marks Removal
Greetings all,
I'm on a verge of going crazy because I can't get rid of watermarks that accumulated on the right hand side of my car. I have tried NuFinish scratch remover but it didn't work. Do any one of you know a compound that I can buy to get rid of this problem. Also, the window on my suicide door has some spots. I hate neighbor sprinklers. Thanks |
shower cleaner

You gotta wax and clay-bar it, it's hard work but it will work.
|
not worth all the work if its going to rain again in a couple days!

has anyone heard of the vinegar and water mixture solution?
|
You could try it but use distilled water instead of tap water.
|
use shower cleaner, it already has distilled water in it. when i bought my car in 07 it had been sitting on the dealer lot for 8 months. water spots were on everything. Cleaning and claybar did little, but a good spritzing of shower cleaner and a micro fiber cloth doing it a couple of times letting the cleaner sit for awhile between rub downs took car of everything. Make sure to rinse the car thoroughly then wash, and wax afterward.
|
What type of shower cleaner like a brand name or some? Plz thanks
|
i used the target house brand simply because we had some in the house. Just look for "daily shower cleaner", not the super duper, once every year, wear gloves and full body armor spray.

warm water and vinegar ftw :)

that would be the one.

This is a very novel approach! Do you think I could go one step stronger? My spots were too tough for it. (yes, I did both soak and rub with microfiber)

This explains what to do in detail. Hope it helps.

your going to have to get a buffer and take a heavy duty wool pad with some 1500compound.. they'll come right out. (im a professional detailer)
|
and as far as the spots on the windows use a triple zero (000) grade steel wool pad make sure its dry
|
picture will be great use mag acid watered down mag acid, i use it all the item you just have to watch out with this method
1.wash your car like normal 2 spray mag acid stright or watered down (at your own risk) 3.brush the mag acid on to the body panel (try not to get it on plastic and window) 4.wait few minutes then water it down make sure you wash off the acid from your car ( i recommended to wash the car) 5.the water spots should be gone if it still there dont water down the mag acid or leave the acid for bit longer |
