Took the ZAINO plunge!

OK, I have read all the hype and reviews on Zaino. I'm a sucker. What can I say? - I TRUST marketing people (I hate myself for it). Anyway, this forum helped me decide. I will keep you posted on the results...

I just ordered the kit and hopefully it will be here for this weekend!

Any tips/pointers?

Also: How does this stuff holdup in SUNNY/HOT Arizona?

I got the 6MT - Vel. Red - GT last week and can't keep the grin off my face! I need plastic surgery or something.

It holds up very well in Sunny Florida. The best way to do Zaino is by reading the instructions and following them to-the-letter. Once you get four or five coats on - you'll never want to use anything else. This is my hood with (now) 5 coats of Zaino. You can see the bycycle hanging from the ceiling above. Please note: this is a silver car - look at the depth of shine:

6speed8 that is a great looking shine, love the glass like finish.
I know exactly what you mean Slice I to can't stop grinning myself.

I am going to take the Zaino plunge also as soon as I get back from vacation. I live in AZ and wanted to know how it holds up in our heat. Please post Pics once you are done. I will do the same. Did you get Zaino's leather conditioners as well?

I'm using Maguiar's Gold Class Leather Cleaner/Conditioner. Just got it the other day and have not applied it yet. Hopefully tonight. I did apply ScotchGard Carpet to my floormats last night tho. My wife's SUV floor mats are filthy! Don't want this to happen to me! I'm also going to Scotchgard her seats this weekend:D

Damn, Just got my RX8, I got so much work to do! Gotta a detailer friend who is going to scotchguard my floormats tomorrow, also planning to get the clear bra very soon! Ordering the Zaino kit today, hopefully it works well, I'm trusting you guys!!!

DeNile, just remember. 1 ounce (yes, just 1 ounce) of Z2 with ZFX should do the entire car, and have enough left over to do half of it again. Just put a small dab on the pad, and then rub on. At first you will be dabbing a lot, but once the pad gets a bit saturated, you'll end up doing huge panels with a tiny dab since it wont be absorbed anymore. It's also pretty darn hard to see it going on the tit gray (I have it too) so dont feel bad if it looks like you can barely see it glancing off the side. It really does go on that thin.

I'm with Genom on this, my first try with Z2/ZFX, I also used 1 ounce and had some left over. You can always use the left over for the windows as I have started doing. It's the only thing that seems to give it that showroom super clean window thing I have never been able to do in the past.

I've also found that Z2/Z5/Z6 will help get out the hard water spots you may occasionally encounter, either on the windows or body.

The Z6 in the kit is awesome, I use that stuff mid-week to keep the shine going and remove that light layer of dust that settles over night.

I put Z5 on my rims the other day and noticed that the brake soot doesnt' adhere to it nearly as easily.
