Summer Project: Top Down Detailing

Alright, I'm quite a n00b when it comes to detailing. I've been taught a few tricks before by a professional detailer, and have a limited idea of what products work and what doesn't.

Anyway, this thread is a way for me to get information on detailing the car over the summer, and will also document my progress with pics and whatnot.

My car has been through two RallyCross races, and another one is coming up this weekend, so I expect A LOT of dirt to clean up. I thinking I should put the car up on a jack, and clean the undersides. I've done it before for one of the wheel wells when changing spark plugs, and by god, there was a mountain of dirt by the time I was done.

My interior hasn't been cleaned since I bought it, so I also expect a pile of stuff to do there. I have the Touring version, so no leather here. Any advice on how to do a top-down interior cleanup?

Last time I was down there, I noticed a lot of "pockets" for snow to go into. Will this cause rusting?

I will do the windows too with Stoner's Invisible Glass. I used it on the side windows with great success. However, the rear and front windshield didn't seem to like it at all. It ended up blurring the glass, and it didn't go away for a few days. Any ideas on those?

I will do the body last, as this part is prolly the easiest. What are the steps to a good detail work? So far, I've only been waxing it. This time around, I wanna make the bodywork my vanity mirror.
