Scratches on Interior -- White marks underneath texture
This is starting to frustrate me!
I bought the thing used and the guy before me obviously didn't take the best care of the car. There are several areas with quite a few scratches, mainly on the suicide doors and on the dash trim and glovebox. The problem is that any time you scratch into the plastic, it shows white. I have tried back to black, but that really does not do much. Any sort of UV protectant, like Armor All, does not really cover it up for more than a day or so. Even then, its still pretty noticeable. I have seen people recommend everything from wax to shoe polish to goo gone. What is the correct way to kinda cover this up? I imagine some sort of black dye is in order, but I am unsure of what would match the OEM color the best. Thanks! |
i think we all have it, i would not worry to much about little things like that, if its a everyday driver?

try black dye on an out of the way spot first.
