Question About Bugs
Hey I have a friend who use to detail cars and he said to get bugs off the cars they would use Mean Green . Has anyone tried this? I trust him cause Ive seen his work but has anyone here tried it? Just dont wanna screw up my paint..

Right now I'm just cleaning snow and ice of my car. I'm dreaming of weather where bugs would be a problem!

I beleive that it would take the wax off also. If you do it, just wax the area again. Just a good soaking with water usually takes them off

I can say this: Don't leave dead bugs on too long or the residue will etch the clearcoat.

^ +1, acidic.
I've never heard of mean green. When i detail cars with bugs on it, they usually just wash off when i wash the car with Gold Class, 2 buckets and a sheepskin mitt. If there's any remaining "residue", the claybar and polish will take care of it. www.autopia.org |
hmm I usually scrub like a ***** and they still remain. I know some of them are burned on there from the sun but still a bia to get off.
